Nourishment
Exploring how primary foods play a role in creating balance in sustainable ways can significantly improve health and wellness by going beyond the symptoms and unraveling the root cause. We all receive nourishment from primary and secondary food. Getting back to basics, crowding out, and having healthy food relationships is just the beginning of the Secondary Food Method. Fostering curiosity, compassion, and understanding around your food choices helps to create realistic, manageable approaches to nourishment and health. Transform through primary and secondary foods!
Movement
How can movement promote multidimensional health? Just one of the benefits of physical activity is that it promotes self-connection. It can create feelings of embodiment, or being present in your body. It can also motivate you to make choices more in line with your personal needs and values. Making time for regular exercise and movement can greatly improve your daily functioning and quality of life. Let's discuss ways to engage in regular movement!
Mindfulness
Be mindful. Studies have shown that starting a meditation or mindfulness practice can decrease cognitive decline, improve immune response, reduce cell aging, and lower the risk of hypertension and heart disease. Meditation, stress management, movement, yoga, and pranayama heal the body through vagal stimulation. We will attend to the needs of your mind, body, and spirit in intentional ways with holistic practices!
